Founded by Josh Leppard in 2019 when he was one of a group of first responders to a dozer that was overturned down a steep embankment carrying with them heavy recovery equipment including heavy-duty slings that weight 140 kgs and Steel D shackles weighing 58kgs to upright the dozer.
Josh Leppard been a keen offshore yacht racer was aware of lightweight synthetic rope and soft shackles that are made specifically for the marine industry that removed the steel, reduced the weight, whilst providing exceptional strength properties.
He reached out to a Marine company in New Zealand and worked closely with them to replicate this technology and “supersize” the couplings to the size and capacity required for use in a different industry and different application before attaining final certification for Australian and New Zealand standards.
